Layer 1: The Four Essential Components

Every birth chart has four building blocks:

1. Planets — What is acting. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto each represent a different dimension of your personality or experience.

2. Signs — How it acts. The 12 zodiac signs each carry a distinct quality, mode, and element. A planet in Aries behaves very differently than the same planet in Libra.
